2nd week in SCOTLAND

Wow i left less then 1 week n i got lots of happening stuff took place back in Malaysia :

1) Bro crash the car into the DITCH =) so clever oo - Chris if ur reading tis, I here by CERTIFY u LULUS aka PASS wit WONDERFUL colors in ur P lisence.

2) 2nd ly my mom being COMP illertate all tis while suddenly promps me a msg n MSN & SKYPE wow supprise leh maybe i should get out of the house sooner then she ll knoe how to handle more ADVANCE GADGETS hehehe =P

3) Heard the modem got STRUCK by lightning & the ROUTER went into ashes ~hmmm i wonder how huh & it was connected to a LIGHTNING arrester~ supprise supprise not really lol but supprisingly dad oppted fer WIRELESS router at last haiseh man all of u enjoying while i m not around

4) Since y day was father's day i wished my dad through MSN ..... Below was the conversation which took place:

Me: Hi pa... Happy Father's Day

Dad: Thanks .....

Dad: Tonite i ll be goin out dinner wit ur grandma s + ye poh

Me: Wa so "han fook" got so many ladies "pui" u eat dinner

Dad: (Innocently added) But I m paying the BILL

Me: Lolxxxx @_@ (give him 'char tao')

C tis is the result of me goin off to Scotland hmmm perhaps i should stay ere then everyone IMPROVES in something hahaha

Yes I was to cook breakfast & lunch y day Sunday so dat Rosalind can take a break from all the cooking well menu states:

Breakfast = "Baked Beans, Ham, Fried Egg, Bread, Sausages"

Lunch = "Pan Mee aka Mee Fun Kok Kuey"

Hehe well wat u wan me to say another FIRE ALARM ar?? Really wor really FIRE Alarm rang TWICE in a week walau we re great man ..... Tis time round i m DEAD sure its NOT coz of my cooking since we were eating the pan mee already when it rang hahaha ..... So wat happen ne??? The gal in the appartment across us SPRAYED AIR FRESHNER in the room then then then ..... TRIGGER ALARM lo why ??? still puzzled wit it but i guess its coz dat the alarm tot the aerosol gas was SMOKE n since our rooms are fitted with SMOKE detecters then WALA hehehe ..... FIRE ALARM rang ...

False ALARM

Well its been a hetic day fer all of us 9am - 5pm back to back lectures wit only 1 hour break tirying n exhausted lolx .... FMT 1 & 2 kills arghhhh hate those subs now duno wat the lecturer NGAP .... sobzz .... =(

Anyway was back at home n it was my turn to cook today hence, giving Rosalind a little break frm all the cooking. The menu states Grilled Lamb + Roasted Vegetables hmm yummy but while i was frying the lamb half way the the ....... the FIRE ALARM rang gosh got a big big fright was wondering if I was the one hu TRIGGER THE ALARM???

Self Thoughts:
1) Charm lo the Uni ppl gonna scold me @_@
2) Hope it was jus a FIRE DRILL since we re gonna have one every Wednesday .......
3) Can call the Village Office tell them its a FALSE ALARM??
4) Shyt the alarm didnt stop after like 3 min n I hear the SIREN @_@ ARGHHH DIE LO

Everyone living in Block E & F James Blyth Couwere already out there n i was still ...... hanging around wit my house mates so we decided to walk down when Chun Keat was at the door lolxx saying dat their house was frying FRIED RICE charm so hu s fault is it ?? We got open the windows wide wide oo summore still can TRIGGER the alarm ????

Reach downstairs n there was sum management ppl frm the Uni down there already shouting at us to leave the building faster yaiksss now we re really in DEEP trouble then less then 5 s after we came down the FIREMEN were already ere checking our systems n looking at the appartment dat triggered the ALARM ...... wow Impressive service (3min already reach imagine it happen in Malaysia it would take them 30 min by dat time everything will be BURNT to ASHES) but it was a FALSE ALARM it came frm the GOLD MEDALIST house lolxxx ... it seems dat he was MOPPING the floor wit hot water & he forgot to off the water which cause a steam in the air n WALA triggered the fire alarm .... yea the management & Firemen were NOT pleased at all at the false alarm hence giving us a superbly short LECTURE lolxx ....

Phew big relieve tot it was our house dat cause it ....... haha okie then when we went back up & Rosalind suggested to GRILL the LAMB CHOPS up but then yaikksss the oil was bouncing off the walls of the grill n there was like FIRE & SPARKS in the grill arghhh ....... so we turn it off ASAP n use books & leavelets & CHOPPING BOARDS (have we gone NUTS??) to fan off the smokey air before it triggers the alarm again .....

SCOTLAND i m ere =P

Yes I finally got my internet connection in Glasgow. It s been a torture with no internet excess fer 5 darn days. Hmmm would like to also thank Chee Yin fer dropping by to send me off at the airport wa very kam dung oo didn’t expect u to come summore gimme present =) Thanks a lot like the present oo =P but soree didn’t get to tok to u much as my luggage was SUPER overweight soree ooo …..

Well u may ask how was the trip there… well …..it was my worst 13 hour flight to Glasgow as I was eating virtually nothing but bread & lots of fruits & water due to very bad air sickness (god knoes why). Well nothing much, felt much better once I m down the darn plane & away frm the food smell & plane smell as it all contributed & worsen the air sickness ….. Anyway my parents are always worried aka kan cheong aka trying to find out wat I m up to next hehehe ….. Hopefully they re not now since I can finally pm them on messenger …. Ritez I hope everyone is fine back at home esp my darling Leing Long & Tortoi …..

Well the 1^st few days in Glasgow were interesting the weather ere is nice hmmm wat I ate fer dinner u may ask since we didn’t had any time to get anything frm the senior while unpacking our rooms ….. hehhe dun worry wont starve le …. We were served wit FREE Nasi Lemak around 4 pm (Glasgow time) after a short orientation frm a great great great x 6 grand senior hu won the Mc Million Award (hope I get the spelling rite). Then around 5.30 pm we went to Tesco Metro which was a 15 min walking distance to buy breakfast & lunch fer at least 2 days stock up dinner well. After dat it was more cleaning & unpacking of my room (duno why the others were already unpacking when I was still cleaning …. Darn am I jus too fussy over cleanliness & neatness???)

2^nd day we needed to register ourselves wit the doctor at Townhead Health Center a 10 min walk frm our campus after dat to the library (5min walk) fer briefing at 1pm….Lot of walking u ll be saying but then we went on a Treasure Hunt to look fer HSBC bank in George’s Street not too bad only a 15 – 20 min walk depends on how fast o slow u walk then off to RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland) hehehe ….. Then around 6pm 3 seniors showed us the way to Tesco Extra (25 min walk yes 25 min & we had to carry all the heavy stuff back frm shopping @_@) n the passersby were staring at us when we went there as we looked like a heard of ducklings following a leader & on the way back they stared again as we were carrying lots of stuff in our hands …… swt …. Yes would also like to thank Yee Lian a senior hu taught us how to save on buying TESCO brand stuff hehhe so most of our bills came out to be around zero point something pence (0.XX p) hahaha =P

Okie example:

1) Dish washing liquid – 13p fer 1 L

2) Soap powder – £1.49 fer 3kg

3) Ham - £1.08 fer 30 slices

4) Corn flakes - £2 fer 2 boxes (banana crunch & muesli)

5) Milk - £1 fer 2.27 L (can last fer 2 days fer 4 ppl eating breakfast)

6) One loaf of whole meal bread – 28p

7) Toilet roll – £1.14 fer 6 rolls (no choice got to get sum fer the 1^st time super exp aka hu ever hu visits me pls buy me more toilet paper & GARLIC)

PS: fer those hu are not use to doing house work o carrying heavy stuff pls dun try coz I m already feeling a pain on both my shoulders as I was carrying stuff in my hand & my own stuff in my backpack +(

3^rd day still having a bit of jet lack always waking up in the middle of the night lolxxx but last nite was great manage to sleep without any small noises I hear frm outside (such as ppl opening & closing doors & toking) probably due to the weightlifting exercise -_-# frm Tesco Extra ….. Got back frm Mc Cane building (5min walk down Richmond Street) wit my ID & yes I look like an idot hu s not wake up in the pic lolxxx. Anyway, hu gives a dam I m only gonna be ere fer another 422 days =P but I might miss the nice weather ere darn …..

4^th day, the whole batch took a trip down to Mathew’s aka a Chinese Town kinda of shop where only Chinese food n herbs & whatever u can get back in Malaysia are there lolxxx … it’s a 30 min walk down there & yes we manage to get RICE =) hurray but it was 10 kg fer £4.30 okie rite?? Well one of the seniors hu brought us there manage to get us an extra 5 % discount + Oyster sauce free with any purchase made (example: even if u only buy one packet of Maggie Mee u still get 1 bottle of Oyster sauce) hehehe nice leh ….. Then later on we proceed down to a Charismatic Church where we were given refreshments & toilet breaks =) yea the pastor & ppl there were very nice they offered to bring our rice & heavy stuff back while we take a slow walk back sightseeing in the city ……

Well it was SUPERBLY HOT Saturday & guess wat I ve still not manage to get onto INTERNET =-( only manage to get to the page where its says “Pls enter ur username & password” Yes it DOESN’T work at all =( charm cannot on 9 again NOT MY FAULT oo blame the LAZY IT staff in Strathclyde lolxx. Then again wanna apologies to my parents didn’t knoe they stay up all night till 3am jus to wait fer me to get on 9, luckly they sms Ching Ying’s phone then I call them back. Thou it was already 11pm & I tot they would already be sleeping soree ooo …. Pls dun punish me by roasting my Leing Long & boiling TorToi sup oo I bet they dun taste nice either so pls cook something decent to eat oo …… lolxxx

5^th day woke up around 8am cant sleep duno why lolxx…. Hmmm went to West End Parade took sum pics =) but the walk there was 2 hours walk lolxx I refuse to pay £2 to take the Orange Circle Train coz I find it a waste of money jus to get there & c a parade pay so much no thanks le rather walk there kinda of nice weather too so not too bad jus fer the experience of wat Glasgodian’s do during their free time =P

2 days & Counting

Well its jus another 2 days away before i fly off to the cold lands of SCOTLAND ..... should i say "Look out Scotland I m on my way to invade u ?? " well dats part of how i m feeling rite now jus a little worry bout ppl hu will be affected when i m gone & my beloved Leing Long & Tortoi .... praying hard dat my mom dun cook roast chinchilla o tortoise sup after i m gone lolxx .....

Well would like to take an opportunity to say thanks to LCY (c i remember ur favrioute color BLUE) hu has accompany me around KL n helping me search fer places aka Menara Chan ..... n yes Happy Birthday =P, may all ur plans flow as u ve planned & ur $$ grow in massive amounts ..... u were quite bz tis mor running up n down getting ready to go out n changing clothes so many times hahaha so funny (dun get me wrong oo i never peep ppl change clothes oo it was like magic show oo one time in green then pink then red ) ..... Well guess ur now wondering around the grounds of Genting till dawn o probably hiding in the casino trying ur luck out since its ur birthday o ... man its gonna be darn tirying frm 9am wake up till now 1am u still not yet sleep wow amazing on how u manage to curb ur napping habbits n its cold up there in the night hmmm jus nice to sleep ooo hehehe .....
